Qualifications
Requirements: BA/BS in Forestry or a closely related field with at least 8 years in a wood procurement Forestry management role is required. In addition to developing and implementing procurement strategies, the primary responsibility of this job involves management of people in a procurement unit, which includes hiring, planning work, supervising work, evaluating job performance, and conducting salary reviews. High ethical standards. Ability to work with and lead a team. Excellent communicator at all levels. Effectively uses personal computer and Windows Operating System, with related Microsoft software. Familiarity with GIS systems, field data recorders, GPS, LIMS (raw material management systems) and economic based growth and yield decision models. Leadership competencies need for this position include but are not limited to the following.
